WILLIAM J. KIESEL
William J. Kiesel is the director of Ouroboros Press and the founder of the international Esoteric Book Conference. His personal research into variant currents of Western Esotericism and the History of the Book has been augmented by participation in the antiquarian and scholarly book trade dating back to 1991. A strong supporter of Book Arts, his role also includes independent scholarship, art curation and public speaking in the US and abroad.
DANIEL A. SCHULKE
Daniel A. Schulke has been involved in the metaphysical publishing industry as an editor, writer and designer since 1995. Since 2000 he has served as co-director of Xoanon Publishing Limited, and as Director of Three Hands Press since 2003. In addition, he is active in the fine press book arts community, and has trained in letterpress printing and wood engraving.
Tom Allen is an artist and educator based in Los Angeles. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California. In 2012, he organized “Occult Aesthesis,” an academic panel discussion examining the interpenetration of esotericism, fine art and contemporary cultural production. He is an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate Studies In Art program at Art Center College of Design, and recently taught an undergraduate course, “From the Shadows – the Occult Presence in Art, Music and Popular Culture” at the University of Southern California. His work is held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the Sweeney Art Gallery at the University of California, Riverside, as well as numerous private collections.

James Dunk is an illustrator and production artist with a longstanding interest in matters covered by this journal. He currently resides in the central provinces of Canada.
Dr. Zahrt recently completed her PhD in German Literature from the University of California, Berkeley with a dissertation on the reemergence of astrology in German culture during the early twentieth century. From 2007–2011 she served as the editorial assistant for the interdisciplinary journal Representations. From 2011–2013 she was the Deputy Editor of The Threepenny Review, a literary arts quarterly. Since 2010, she has been the Deputy Editor for the journal Culture and Cosmos, and she currently edits manuscripts concerning astrology and Western esotericism for authors and presses in the US, the UK, and South Africa. Joseph Uccello runs the Viatorium Press, and is a graphic designer specializing in typographic communication and the effective flow of information. His knoweldge of printing processes encompasses letterpress, offset lithography, and digital printing. In addition to his typographic skills, he has developed special techniques in letterpress printing, and is an award-winning book designer.
Patricia Cram is a writer and editor working in the arts and the esoteric. Her academic work has focused on comparative literature and the crossroads of politics and mythology. As a designer and performance artist, she explores viscerality. Her website is patriciacram.com.
Kaitlin Reeves is the proprietress of FORM & FUNCTION [ web production ], a boutique design firm specializing in beautiful, highly functional WordPress websites and various web, print and design services. Her esoteric background is in classical feng shui, astrology and hypnosis, contributing a subtle and transcendent element to her work.
